In these last few years we have really come to know the importance of First Responders and the sacrifices they make for us. May 19 2024 we are hosting our 3rd charity Exotic Car Show for the benefit of The 100 Club of Illinois. The 100 Club of Illinois provides resources several forms of financial support access to training and moral support to both the families of first responders killed in the line of duty and active duty first responders throughout the state of Illinois. All sworn federal state county and local first responders stationed in Illinois are included.

Early Registration Contribution for car show entrants is .00 After May 7 2023 .00. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE 100 CLUB OF ILLINOIS.. Join others in showing your car in support of all our First Responders.

The family-friendly event features hundreds of new vehicles, luxury line up, specialty vehicles, exotic vehicles, classics of course, test drives, and more. According to a news release, everyone is invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, talk to product specialists, inspect engines and experience the latest automotive technology and connectivity. The new models are expected to turn heads on the show floor each year. You never know what you will see at the Milwaukee Auto Show.

Hershey, Pennsylvania, may be well-known for chocolate, but it is also the host of a mid-June Concours event featuring some of the most beautiful vehicles of a bygone era. The vintage race is one of its signature events. A weekend celebration of a bygone era when the automobile stirred our imaginations and quickened our hearts. Plan your trip to allow time to take in Hersheypark, too. The festivities commence with The Grand Ascent, a vintage hill climb exhibition in the European tradition, where drivers pilot some of the finest historic race cars up the historic back road to The Hotel Hershey®. Modeled on similar events such as England’s Goodwood, and paying homage to ongoing events such as Mount Equinox and Pikes Peak, The Grand Ascent appeals to enthusiasts and curious spectators alike. Sanctioned by the Vintage Sports Car Club of America (VSCCA), the two-day hill climb event includes a sponsor /vendor area for marketing to participants and the general public.

Released Statement
After nine years of presenting a world class concours weekend, The Elegance at Hershey Board of Directors, announced on Facebook yesterday that the event will take a hiatus in 2020. Since its inception, the event — held at the historic Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pa. — has raised over million for three benefitting charities: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum and the AACA Library and Research Center.

Board chair Michael Rich, son of the event’s founder, explained in the letter below that “From day one, we have been guided by the principle that if we could not make a substantial difference to our charities that there would be no reason to exist.”

According to vice chairman Steve Moskowitz, a successful year would have to net at least 0,000 for the charities.

In an interview with ClassicCars.Com Journal, Moskowitz explained, “… it wouldn’t be ethical for us to put on a big party and then donate just a little money.”

The Elegance at Hershey was more than a car show. The 3-day weekend began on Friday with The Grand Ascent, a revival of the Hershey Hill Climb, which flourished from 1958 until the 1970s on a wooded service road owned by the hotel. The Ascent featured vintage race cars and continued on Saturday. On Sunday, there was the concours d’elegance that featured about 70 of the finest collector cars. Other activities included a Kick-off Cocktail Party, Cars & Coffee, Gala Dinner & Auction, VIP breakfast and lunch, the Awards Ceremony and a final reception called the Elegance Afterglow.

The Board has not ruled out a continuation of the event in future years.

Taking place in the vibrant city of Reno, Nevada, Hot August Nights is an annual car event that celebrates America’s love for cars and rock n’ roll. It features:

Thousands of vintage vehicles
Auctions
A Vintage Trailer Revival show
Thrilling drag races

Activities include car shows, live­ entertainment, and a Show-n-Shine­. While the specific date­s may vary from year to year, the event is typically held during the first week of August.

Hot August Nights is held at several different venues during the week: After the kickoff event in Virginia City, we set up in downtown Reno, downtown Sparks, the Atlantis Casino Resort, Baldini’s Casino, Grand Sierra Resort, Peppermill Resort Spa Casino Reno, the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center (Swap Meet, Cool Car Showroom & Outdoor Car Corral) and the Reno-Sparks Convention Center (Hot August Nights Auction presented by MAG Auctions). Along with additional pre-event or single day venue such as Summit Racing.

Cars can be sold or purchased at either the Hot August Nights Auction presented by MAG Auctions located at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center or the Hot August Nights Cool Car Corral & Showroom located at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Event Center.

For additional information during the Event, please visit our Information Booths—look for the red Hot August Nights tent in downtown Reno, and the Grand Sierra Resort. The Sparks Information Booth is located under the Gazebo on Victorian Avenue.
