Protect from warming perishables requiring a temperature range of 32 F TO 60 F at a safe, uniform cool temperature for over 14 days. Also protects against freezing when packaged in properly insulated containers, warmed RE-FREEZ-R-BRIX® release heat, keeping perishables from freezing. With the help of cold packs, items do not get thawed or frozen more than they need to.
Recommended ratio: one pound of freezer packs per three pounds of product.
We always recommend you conduct in house testing to confirm your shipping within your temperature range desired. Seal up a box just like you would on ship day with the required cold packs but leave out the product and include a thermometer. Open the box after 24 hours in room temperature and see what the thermometer says. Repeat the test until you find the right mix of cold pack to product. You don’t want your customers disappointed.
