VCI Waxed Rolls

VCI, an abbreviation for Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors, refers to a chemical, which has the ability to react with metals and create a mono-ionic protective layer on their surface. Keeping this feature in mind, we stock sheets, rolls and chips saturated with VCIs, to prevent metallic products from external impacts such as oxidization and corrosion. The chemical makes the metals inert to reaction with particles and gases in the air by balancing free charges in metals. This also prevents static discharge from building up. All these features make VCI products suitable for storing, packing and shipping metal products, electrical components and machinery, and protecting them from corrosion, abrasions and moisture.

These rolls of kraft paper sheets are waxed with a concentrated VCI that prevent damage to the structure and functioning of metal products. For maximum protection, it is recommended using one square foot of VCI Paper for every one cubic foot of packaging area. You can easily create customized sheets of paper and wrap your products with these rolls by using roll paper dispensers and cutters available in our collection.
